Photoshop: When changing the Brush Tool brush tip size using bracket keys, the px size jumps to 5 px increments instead of 1 px increments. I need to fine-tune the brush tip size without having to move up to the brush tip drop-down menu and use the size slider. It's very distracting and time-consuming, as I may change the tip size several times a minute!
This happened today. Also, the settings for "spring-loaded tool shortcuts" keep activating (I don't want that feature), and the stamp tool > aligned option turns on again (I don't want the sample cursor aligned).
Why? Am I hitting some key to reset the key? Or is changing preferences to the default setting a feature?
Below, it asks for a topic, and I see only three, which I don't understand - so I click "Others."

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Resizing using bracket keys is set to
from 1 to 10 in 1px increments,
from 10 to 50 in 5px increments,
from 50 to 100 in 10px increments,
from 100 to 200 in 25px increments,
from 200 to 300 in 50px increments,
and above 300 in 100px increments.
and cannot be changed.
If you place the cursor in the size field, you can use the up and down cursor keys to change it in 1px increments,
or use the shift key to change it in 10px increments.
Does the problem with Spring-loaded tools still occur even with this setting turned off?
