Photoshop Histogram issue

I have opeend a TIFF file on photoshop but on opening histogram it shows disabled. Any reason why that is? I am new to photoshop.

Your image is in 32 bits per channel mode. The histogram is disabled in that mode, probably due to the dynamic range being so vast in 32 bit floating point.
