Photoshop I cannot view any files I open. I have just downloaded latest PS version and latest MacOS.

I have downloaded latest PS and latest Mac OS, and now I cannot view any files. They can be opened, and I can view them in Navigator, but the main screen remains blank. How can I fix this?
