Unfortunately it happened to me that I downloaded Photoshop for a friend yesterday. I didn't think anything of it.
I don't normally use Photoshop.
I noticed today that photoshop usually costs money. but I didn't pay for it. so was the whole thing illegal now? What can I do now? I don't want to risk getting in trouble for it.
How can we fix this?

Hi
If you installed it, use this tool to remove it

If it's not installed just delete the download
This is worth a read

what about law enforcement?
I heard there is something called ip. And that simply deleting is not enough. so are you from Adobe?
or how does it work?

No I'm not from Adobe, you made a mistake and you where good enough to own up to it, I wouldn't worry about it, just delete what you have, tell you friend the Photoshop Photography plan is only $9.99/month

Downloading and installing pirated software can run the risk of infecting your PC with malware and other nasties and potentially steal your personal information and credit card details

Perhaps you installed a trial version, which would be free for a short period? If it is illegal, then you would want to get it off your machine.

Never download things illegally. Software, film, shows, games, etc.
It can come back to haunt you.
My suggestion would be to erase it and download the trial version. Then if your friend wants to subscribe he or she can legally.
