Since the latest update (photoshop 22.0.0) it happens very often that when working on layers at a certain point I can't see what I'm doing anymore. I mean the tools work, but the image on the screen does not change. I have to shut everything off and restart the program again, reopen the file. That takes a lot of time considering that this happens even up to 3 or 4 times per edit.

I have a similar problem when using Nik Color Efex Pro4.  The layer stack freezes after applying the adjustment in Color Efex and returning to Photoshop  in order to continue with my workflow.   I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Nik Software as I have Photoshop CC 2021.  The problem still persists - any ideas to resolve the issue would be gratefully received.

Just checked the issue on DXO website and the following message has been posted......

"Nik Collection 3 by DxO is not yet compatible with Photoshop 2021 /// Hot fix is planned."

Hope it gets sorted soon.  Many thanks.

This sounds like it could be a Graphic Processor issue. You might try turning off or on the Use Graphic Process option depending on the current setting and see whether that addresses the issue. â€ƒ
