HI,

I am pretty new at using Photoshop. I've been using the Scripts - Image Processor function to convert a large nunber of files to tiff format. It worked well with the first couple of batches, but now when I run the secript, the output files all have their names changed to the name of the input folder plus a serial number. I can't see any options in the Image Conveter dialog that would allow me to affect this behavour.

Any insights would be appreciated - Thanks

If you run the script more than once and pass the same parameters to process the same files  to save to the same location as a previous run.  The saved file names will have serial numbers added. The Script only saves new files it will not replace existing files.  If an output file exist even on the first run the saved output file will have a serial added.

Having exactly the same issue, on 1 particular folder of images. Other folders from same shoot behave properly. Only workaround I found was manual open/save as for each individual image. Have you found a solution?
