“Could not open ‘ImageName.jpg’ because the file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions, or another program is using the file. Use the ‘Get Info’ command in the Finder to ensure the file is unlocked and you have permission to access the file. Thanks, Ged! I followed the directions and hopefully that solves the problem! I've never been able to find a solution before. Maybe I was asking the question improperly. Will the Full Disk Access to PS still apply when Adobe updates the application?

Maybe, Brian, but can any of us say with certainty what will happen in the next updates to Photoshop and macOS? 🙂 Full disk access is a security feature from Apple that was introduced with Mojave.

If it doesn't work in future updates, check back here and we'll have an answer for you!
