Photoshop is not working

I've been using Adobe Photoshop for so long without any issues.

Then suddenly, it started glitching? Lagging? Crashing? I can't specifically explain.

But as you see in the screenshot, everytime when I drag and place a jpeg image,

this(screenshot) happens.

Can anyone please help me why this is happening and how I can fix this?

Btw, my Adobe photoshop and my Windows are both upto date.

Hi @Fred2413164993vv sorry to hear this.

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thank you,

Cory

Hi Mr.CoryShubert

Thank you for an in-depth solution for my recent problems.

I tried your first suggestions with Disabling Native Canvas.

IT SOLVED THE PROBLEM!!! Thank you so much!!!

As K-12 Art teacher, I do so many school documents and other reference image formatting

for my students with Photoshop App, and your solution saved me from the situation.

Thank you

Best
