Photoshop is really Slow On a Brand New Computer

So about a week ago I build My brand new computer and installed everything that I needed and everything works fine. except Photoshop!! its really slow! I've tried EVERYTHING! From Uninstall, Reinstall, Tweaked the Nvidia Control panel, Manage 3D Settings, Chose different Photoshop versions. To checked and unchecked the Graphics Processor In Performance Settings, I also tested the RAM Settings by going to 90% or 60% or 70% And YES my Graphics processor is Compatible I also set  I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE 😞

We have a test we do here. 

Create a new document 30,000 x 30,000 pixels

Select a 5000 pixel fully hard brush, with spacing set to 1%

Touch down in one corner, and Shift touch down in the diagonally oposite corner.  You can be more accurate with this if you have the cursor set to show the cross hairs to know where its center is.

My system took 10.9 seconds (you see this in either the Starus Bar or Options Panel, but you might need to open Panel Options to enable Timing).

I'm using i9013900K, Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Hero, 64Gb RAM, RTX4080, Scratch drive is Samsung 2Tb 980 PRO

Have you set "Power Mode" to High Performance?

What is you anti-virus setup? Have you set it to skip Photoshop and associated files?

Try this: System > Display > Graphics... Scroll down to Photoshop 2025. Is it set to High Performance? If not, click on the app to expand the window. Click on Options and select High Performance.

If you don't see Photoshop 2025 in that list, up higher, you will see Custom Options for apps. You can add PS 2025 there. "Browse" to the Adobe/Photoshop2025 folder and choose "Photoshop.exe".

I dont know what your talking about with the Anti-virus setup?

Yes When I go to System > Display > Graphics My GPU Preference is set to High Performance (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

Anti-virus software can interfere with proper operation as it scans every thing. You can set your anti-virus to ignore Photoshop and the image files you work on.

Okay so I just did the windows block virus thing BUT I also changed Document from I think it was either  centimeters or millimeters And I changed that into Pixels and now everything is fine! everything runs smootly now so was it the Document or the Anti virus thing
