photoshop lag when monitor is hdr in windows 11

They ask for system info and disappear, lmao, exact same issue here with similar spec hardware but a RTX 3060Ti instead. I just have to turn HDR off in windows to have any acceptable performance within photoshop without it being a stuttering mess. All other software works fine, a real pain when trying to validate colours having to go into windows and toggle HDR on and off.

I've been having issues with running Photoshop and Premier Pro on an HDR monitor as well.

It takes a long time to respond in both but also in the transparencies and gamut settings show up as the wrong color now in Photoshop. It's not the monitor calibration since colors outside of the program looks correct. I attached a screen shot of the setting between two monitors. You can see the line where the top setion is overlapping my non-HDR and the bottom the HDR one. Same thing goes with colors being wrong in the editing window.

Photoshop says the GPU is Compatible.System info below that as well.

now i come back home and try all your suggestions, also set the monitor as
30bit in the advanced settting of performance on preferences, now look like
the problem is solved by itself, also if i disable the 30bit monitor, it
continue to work good.

I had similar issues in both Photoshop and Lightroom (I got a Quadro M1200) . Disabling hardware acceleration helped in my case.

It may help if we could see your full Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

my gpu is an nvidia gtx 1080 and the driver was updated just few days
before.
hdr work great on any other things i do, games, video, etc etc. just
photoshop freeze for 10 seconds each time i do anything.
it also ever work great on windows 10.
if photoshop is not compatible with consumer gpu with hdr on windows11,
make a post with all compatible gpu or make an alert inside photoshop at
launch, like what you do when try to run photoshop on a discrete gpu 15
years old.
