Hello there,

Does the Mixer brush work using a single core or multi core process?

Best Regards,

And out of curiosity: What difference do you expect that to make to you?

Are you running into performance issues with the Tool often?

c.pfaffenbichler : Hi, faster performance perhaps? I have no issue with the tool, just wanted to know what I should invest in to make it run faster.

Hi

We are Photoshop users here , not developers, however if I look at Windows resource monitor whilst using the mixer brush I see activity across multple CPU cores as well as the GPU

Hi davescm,

Thank you for your reply, I noticed similarly. But I wanted more confirmation, if the calculations for the mixer brush are really happening across all the cores?  JJMack answered a similar question 2 years ago in this post Mixer Brush performance , he seems to think its not really benefitng from multiple processors or cores.

Im trying to improve the performance of the mixer brush and I'm wondering if I need to look for a processor that performs better in single core process or multi core process.

Is there a way to ask the developers a question?
