Photoshop MOVE tool with layer

Hello,

I'm having an irritating issue with the move tool. The selected layer I want to move

does not move. It jumps to another layer that I HAVE NOT selected. I only

want the layer that I have selected to move.

I have never had this issue in PSD and it's driving me nuts.

Is this a bug?? with the layer and move tool?

If you have Auto-Select Layer turned on, then turn it off.
