Hi, whenever I try to import any MP4, it says the file is not readable. The files are not corrupt, windows media player and other video players open it perfectly, did something not install that allows photoshop to read a mp4?

I've found another video file type that opens fine at full quality (the others were pixelated), but it's still annoying to have to convert every file I want to use in photoshop

MP4 is not a codec - it is a container for codecs. So the file you are trying may be a codec that PS does not support. Try opening the file in a dedicated video editing program (for example Adobe Premier Pro)
