Photoshop on new MacBook Pro - dialog boxes don't come to the front

I just got a new MBP, running latest everything. I have a weird problem when using photoshop. 

Dialog boxes will stay hidden, making photoshop interface totally useless. For exmaple, if I switch applications and returns to photoshop. The 'clipboard is too big to export' dialog does not appear to me. Instead it gets lost somewhere. I have to optioin click the app icon for it to appear.

Any ideas?
