Photoshop plug in problem

Every time I try to open a file in Adobe Photoshop, I get this window that says:

Adobe Photoshop CS6 plug-ins could not locate FontAgent Pro.

I have asked FontAgent Pro for help but they cannot find where the plug in would be located either. I have searched the regular plug in folder and also in the common folder but cannot locate any other place this plug in might be located. I've replaced the system, Photoshop, the caches and the font program itself but still no luck. I use a Macpro running the latest system software and the most updated photoshop program.

Had the same problem.

Re-installed FontAgent.

Solved.

I've reinstalled it a few times already and it still didn't help. Did you uninstall it a special way maybe? Can you think of what was uninstalled that might have caused the problem that I just can't find to delete? Thank you.

I downloaded Version 9.7.0 dmg and launched it on my MacBook. Quick installation, no serial number request.  Worked right away. Worked with CS6 AI and PS.

If you dont have CS6 loaded at all then go to your User>Library>Preferences and Application Support folders and remove anything related to Photoshop CS6. (you can access your user library by going to desktop Go menu and hold the Option key then search in each folder)

Go to your Applications folder/ Photoshop CS6/Plugins. Remove (do not delete) anything besides Automate and Generator. Restart your machine then launch PS.

I don't have a folder or application for photoshop CS6. I removed everything in the applications support folder and prefs that says CS6 before and caught some more since your reply, restarted machine and photoshop but I still get the error. I've searched my entire library folder for the name CS6 and it comes up blank. I can't imagine where this error is coming from. I also use dropbox, but cannot find anything on there either. Can you think of any other place a plug-in might be stored? I see plug-ins listed in my photoshop but also cannot find where they are located either. I've searched and searched.

I would search and see if there is support from FontAgent Pro listing where their supporting files are located so you can remote those as well. I'm guessing there is something from that application still hiding somewhere that PS is recognizing.
