Hi

It's been like that since the Creative Cloud was released, it's called the Photograghy Plan, why they have Photoshop as a single app doesn't really make any sense.

Good evening.
I think that the reason for the existence of the Photoshop unit plan is as follows.
・ Existence of monthly plan. Suitable for short-term use
・ Cloud storage size (20GB for Photography Plan, 100GB for Photoshop single plan)
・ Photoshop for iPad can be used (both can be used for free until January 31, 2020)

There were times when Adobe fonts (Typekit) could not be used, but now either can be used, so if you use Photoshop with an annual plan, Photography Plan is better.

But if you pay $19.99/month you get the Photography plan with 1TB storage, which is the same price as the single app

From the linked helpdoc:

Creative Cloud Market is a benefit that has been added to certain paid Creative Cloud plans, and is not included in the entitlements for Photography Program customers. Some Creative Cloud services, such as Creative Cloud Market, are only available to Single App or All Apps plans. To download and use Creative Cloud Market content, upgrade to either Creative Cloud Single App or All Apps plans.

Also there is no monthly commitment for the Photography Plan. You commit to a year. If you wanted Ps for just 2 months, you would have to go to Photoshop single app for $31 a month.

Photoshop as a standalone can be bought on a 12 month plan paid monthly or (for additional cost as a month by month plan) . It also comes with 100GB of cloud storage at the price you quoted.

The cheaper Photography plan is a 12 month plan, paid monthly. At the price you quoted it has 20GB online cloud storage, but as you said comes with Lightroom.

The long and the short of it, in answer to my original question, is that for double the price you get fewer programs but a few extra gigs of storage and the right to use Photoshop on a monthly, as opposed to annual basis.

Thanks.
