Hello,

I am making something that's printed with photoshop and I am using text, it's looking great digitally and then once printed it comes out with a 3D effect, I have ensured high resolution and also experimented with all of the anti-aliasing options, and deeper shades of black. I was wondering if anyone had seen this before and could shine a light on why it's happening?  I've also adapted my printer settings too! Anything I print from word doesn't have this problem, only photoshop!
thank you !

Hi

It looks like it might be a shadow.

  • Look at your Layers panel, if there is a shadow Effect, delete it (or double-click to edit it)
  • If that's not it, select the text and open the Character panel from the Window menu

If you don't see it, post screen shots of the Layers panel and the Character panel with text selected. It might also be a 3D Effect, but check the others first.
