PhotoShop question

Unfortunately, when I was creating a new book cover, I must have touched something by mistake.  Now I have a ghost outline that is associated with one of the images and I can't seem to get it out.  I think it happened when I found something called DEFINE BRUSHES and now this outline of a man with raised arms is hanging around like a ghost; I can't get it out.

Thanks, but I redid the entire design. I have so much trouble with this version of PS.
