photoshop quits while debugging

Maybe this is not the correct topic fpr this forum, but as the problem concerns scripts and PS (CC 2018) I’ll put this question anyway in case somebody knows the solution to this problem..

I usually use breakpoints or  the debugger command in the code to test my scripts.

This works well on my apple macBook Air or my macPro.

When testing the same scripts on my iMac Photoshop regularly quits at the end of the script or in bewteen. There are no problems when the script is running without breakpoints set.

I  tried to install PS from scratch but the problem persists all the same.

Is this a  known problem? Any idea would be welcome.

This is the same on my PC with Win10.

And I have sent dozens of crash reports to Adobe. Nobody will ever fix it.

it seems we are the only two suffering on this problem or it's not a problem of any interest. As I'm able to debug on my other machines w/o any problem I suppose it's a problem in the system configuration. But this is just a guess.

We'll probably have to live with it.

Majority of people don't use debugging in ESTK. And it crashes in unknown cases. Mostly when I stop debugging.
