Hello
For some time I am not able to enjoy the recovery feature of photoshop,
On drive c:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2020\AutoRecover
The folder AutoRecover doesn't exist
On scratch disk SDD
There is a folder named PSAutoRecover that is always empty
What should I do to make this feature work as it should

What are you expecting from the "feature". It only uses the recovery file if the application crashes. If the application closes correctly - the recovery file is deleted.
On Windows 10 it is stored in PSAutorecover which is in the root directory of your scratch disk. It is updated at the rate you set in Preferences > File Handling > Automatically Save Recovery Information Every .... minutes. So if you set that at 10 minutes the PSAutorecovery > username folder will be populated after 10 minutes. If you are watching for it using Windows Explorer then you will need to refresh the screen.

Ok so the folder is in the right place
What I am expecting is that when my Photoshop crashes to be able to find the auto recover files
When is a crash or killed by me (end task), the folder is empty
after it crashes and I restart it there is no recovering of any the files
I lose a lot of time and work because of this, is there a way to test and see if it works

I never used or care to use the Auto Recovery feature, backups are the only way to stay safe, incremental and offline/cloud are your best options.
When I'm working on any applications I do incremental saves, backup regularly and I even backup my backup

Just now my photoshop crashed in the middle of the work, didn't do heavy work its just crash, which is BTW happening too much, but at least let me recover see a screenshot below
photoshop error, didn't close yet and open the PSautoRecovery folder and its empty nothing can save me now 😞
So frustrating in the middle of the workflow cut you off from you muse and you work

I'm expecting Adobe to respond to the issue and keep in mind that the file may not be opened automatically after a crash. So deleting the file on a hair trigger is an absolutely horrible idea as is making the recover file manually inaccessable. And "no," there is no folder on the entire disk where the scratch disk is located by the name of PSAutorecover.

Photoshop never recovers the actual file I'm working on, just the reference files I had open when PS crashed. NOT ONCE has this been a useful feaure.
I can't use PS 24 because the keys stick and input lag is barf. I switched back to PS 23 because it performs faster, but is prone to abrupt crashes.
Continue circling the drain, Adobe.

@JoseGIHP AutoRecover only activates if Photoshop crashes with the Crash Report window - meaning the software caused the crash. If your PS crashed for any other external reason, the AutoRecover won't activate.

That's not what I posted about.
auto recover DID activate, It just didn't recover the files I was actually woking on and lost the work. What it DID "recover" were files I opened to use as reference that I did NOT alter (Other than opening layer groups to color sample)

@JoseGIHP had you saved the image you were working on at least once to initiate the recover backups?
