Photoshop save object with outline too huge

Outline too HugeOutline too Hugeexpand imageHi, 

 

When I save this object and reopens it in Ai, the file opens up with a huge outline. When I scale it down, the object looks very small. See the screenshot below.

If you expand the object in the Illustrator layers panel, can you see what is taking up the exra space?

How you save file from Photoshop, as cropped to object bounds or larger dimensions file with object in the middle? If you are saving as cropped to bounds then try to select a evezrthing then use Image > Crop to ensure that you have object/file cropped to bounds which you see on screen.
