Photoshop snap problems

Hi everyone, sorry but I don't understand if I'm incapable, or there's something that doesn't add up: I use Photoshop 25.5.0 on Sonoma 14.2.1. So, when I move elements (single or grouped) and they snap to me magnetically in a certain position (for example on the middle of the page, at the same distance as a similar element, etc), as soon as I release it it moves, it does not remain in the position in which it was snapped: does it do this to you too? Is it my problem?

Thank you,

W.

Uncheck the magnetism. It can be totally inactivated or only for guides or ruler…

But I wouldn't want to disable it, because it's useful. But compared to previous versions, the behavior when releasing the mouse button has changed: before it remained stationary where it was hooked, now it moves when I release it: does it happen to you too?
