I have recently updated to 24.5, which has Spacebar + Ctrl issues for me depending on the order they are clicked. If I hit the Ctrl first and spacebar milliseconds later it does not trigger the magnify tool. Doing this the other way, space first + ctrl does.
Is this a known bug? It's not like the other way triggers a different features, it just seems to ignore the spacebar entirely.

If you recently updated to version 24.5 and are experiencing issues with the Spacebar + Ctrl combination depending on the order they are clicked, you may try the following solutions:
Keyboard shortcuts conflict: Check if there are any conflicting keyboard shortcuts in your system or application settings. It's possible that another application or system function is using the same combination, causing the issue. Adjust or disable conflicting shortcuts to avoid conflicts.
Update drivers and software: Make sure your keyboard drivers and software are up to date. Outdated drivers or software can sometimes cause compatibility issues. Visit the manufacturer's website to download and install the latest drivers for your keyboard.
Test with a different keyboard: If possible, try using a different keyboard to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to your keyboard or if it's related to the software or system settings.
Reset keyboard settings: Resetting your keyboard settings to default may resolve the issue. In your operating system settings, look for the keyboard settings or language input options. Resetting these settings will revert any customizations and potentially fix any configuration issues.
Contact support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to the software or keyboard manufacturer's support team. Provide them with detailed information about your setup, including the version of the software, operating system, and any steps to reproduce the issue. They will be better equipped to provide specific guidance or investigate if there is a bug or compatibility issue with the latest update.
Remember to create a backup or system restore point before making any changes to your system settings. This ensures that you can revert to a working configuration if anything goes wrong during the troubleshooting process.

@satta301872292z8a Thank you for your support. It is indeed a conflict between The new Photoshop 24.5 and Microsoft PowerToys v0.70.0. Turning off PowerToys application resolved the issue and Photoshop became operational. Microsoft have released a patch (Release v0.70.1), and resolves the issue completely.
Thank you for your advice and time to respond. It was very helpful!
Peter
