Hey Everyone,

I am currently having an issue where Photoshop, upon trying to opne the application, runs the startup. But no window ever appears, and it shows as "not running" on the PC. However, when I go to my creative cloud, I cant uninstall, update, or do anything else as creative cloud thinks Photoshop is running. My only solution currently is to restart and uninstall when this issue occurs. Any ideas on whats going on?

I suspect this is a GPU problem with the integrated GPU.

Pleas post Help > System Info.

Hi,

Have you tried to start Photoshop while holding Ctrl+Alt+Shift to try to reset the preferences?

OK, you cut off the system info, but it shows enough that the GPU should work (even if a bit underpowered).

You're not using a dock, USB hub, anything like that? How is the display connected?

Can you see if Intel has a newer driver for the UHD 770?

Finally back. Thank you for your help! Not using a dock, or usb hub, nothing. The display is connected VIA HDMI to the back of this computer. two monitors plugged in simultaneously.

the Driver is 10.0.19041.1

I may need to engage my IT team, this is a work laptop thus, at the mercy of them. Still happening, but less frequently.
