Photoshop symmetry bug

Hello,

Today when using Photoshop I faced a weird bug. I activated the symmetry tool as usual but I couldn't see the typical blue symmetry line that I usually can move around. Instead it appears sometimes a gray line that is visible no matter symmetry is active or not, hidden or not. What should I do?

You have multiple displays plugged into multiple cards. Try plugging monitors only into the NVIDIA card.

Try this other setting: Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

I uninstalled Photoshop and installed it again removing my preferences and it seems that both transform and symmetry are now working correctly, although symmetry is now a gray line, which I guess it's an update? At least I can now activate it and hide it and move it. I tried your solution after and the problem came back, neither symmetry or transform were working properly again. I uninstalled it again and installed it back without my preferences and it's working again fine with the only difference that the symmetry line is now gray on my Photoshop for some reason

Try this: Go to Preferences > Performance... click Advanced Settings... and uncheck "GPU Compositing" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?
