Photoshop text box

Hi, I have previously worked with the text box in photoshop and now suddenly I cannot add text, adjust or see the text in the box. Also, i previously were able to open a chat with Adobe, has this been removed or has it moved within the links? Helena

Try resetting the Tools

If that doesn't help try a preferences reset

Can you please show a screenshot (fullscreen with Layers Panel)? Before that, please double-click on the "T" (thumbnail of your text layer) in the Layers Panel (this should select the text and show important indicators in the Control Bar).

No, the chat has not been removed (see Ged's screenshot), but your browser may be blocking it. Try the link to auto-open the Chat:
