Photoshop Text Size Won't Change

I am using Dell and have been using Photoshop for almost 4 years. Recently my Photoshop text size would stop changing when I would change the font size from 12px-500px it would get a bit bigger but not how it should be looking.

If anyone knows why this is happening and how to fix it that would be great!

Photoshop has a limitation of a maximum of 1296 points for text, but it doesn't sound like you are anywhere near that. Are you able to enlarge the text using Edit > Transform?

Make sure you have the most current version of Photoshop installed, 19.1.3. Try rebooting, try resetting preferences, and if none of those work, try reinstalling.

I'm having the same problem. Font size is set at 8, but the text size is gigantic when I type it out. I've restarted, reset, what else can i do?

    Hi

What version of Photoshop are you using?

Can you include a screenshot of your character panel and toolbar.
