Photoshop type tool question

Happy May.  Working in PS 2023 and using the type tool on a curved path.  I'm using a standard Times New Roman in Bold and with the Faux Bold turned on.  The text looks heavier in the top center of the curve than on the outter ends of the curve.  I'm sure it's something I'm doing but I'm not sure what it could be.  Has anyone else ran into this minor issue?

also, no apologies needed. your post is now in the correct (photoshop) forum.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

You need to ask program questions in the forum for the program you are using
