Photoshop Update 2024 and it broke

Had just updated Photoshop 24.7.0 after reinstall a second time and Lightroom 12.4 to latest version.  Trying to edit in external editor Photoshop 2024 is option in LR. Lightroom would get errors. So last time Photoshop acted screwy I uninstalled and reinstalled no 27.7.0.

Edition Windows 11 Home
Version 22H2
Installed on ‎11/‎1/‎2022
OS build 22621.1992
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22644.1000.0

Device name MarksAlienware2
Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Now all my custom made brushes and patterns are gone. Lightroom can't open Photoshop 2024. I have to manually open Photoshop then go to lightroom to edit in external editor. Also Photoshop does not see any of my cloud files saying I have none.

So I am resaving stuff, and recreating custom brushes, so tired of dealing with photoshop debugging I am accomplishing no productivity.

Also opening creative cloud, now I get a Librarys Sync Error and it is being blocked by my firewall. Same firewall I have had and I never needed to do anything special. So I go into the Windows 11 firewall and make sure to Add Photoshop and Creative cloud are added and some server, CRWindowsClientService, it still doesn't work.

It all worked fine befoire I uninstalled and reinstalled.

I am so frustrated and tired troubleshootin and losing so much work. What needs to be in Firewall safe programs. Please help.

I had the same problem that you have with your 1st picture , and I got the same message. It would open PS but no image. I started getting that when I updated to 24.7 , so I went back to 24.6. Well that didn't fix it right away , but I deleted the beta PS 24.7 and that fixed the problem.

This worked for me as well. Currently up to date on both LRC and PS, but uninstalled PS Beta and it's working
