This last update just wiped out most of my major filter plugins... WHY??? How do I get them back? will I need to reinstall they are still in my filters folder on my HD, so why is PS not listing them. I tried looking on the menu editing listing and thet are gone there too...

First, that's odd as all my plug-in's remaned intact.

In Photoshop, Menu item "About Plug Ins... you see nothing listed?

You may indeed need to reinstall them if somehow they are missing but again, that isn't something Photoshop does on update.

The path for the main folder for plug-in's is:

Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CC

Check there or do a search on your Mac for a known plug-in and make sure they reside in that folder.

all the plug-ins are there, so why doesn't PS recognize them?

What version of Mac OS are you on? Do you have System Prefs>Security settings all configurations set?In System Preferences, >Security & Privacy, >Full Disk Access, so you see PS listed? If not, do add it and try again.
