Hi just updated photoshop and now my text in text boxes seems to be slicing sections off, when I move the text box up or down the missing text reappears? Is this a setting or glitch?

Hello, I am using Photoshop version 25.12.0 on a Mac running Sonoma and still running into this same issue. The preference option of "legacy compositing" no longer exists. Does anyone know of a fix for this for newer versions of Photoshop?

    Hi there,

    Welcome to the Adobe Community!

Please update Photoshop to 26.0 version and check if that helps to resolve the problem for you. The Legacy compositing option will not be available in the latest version.

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Mohit

Hi guys, I've just spoken to an adobe representative and apparently the issue is with the latest update. The solution for now would be to downgrade to an earlier version of photoshop (Ver. 19.1.7) while they fix this issue to be part of the next update. It's working fine for me now.

    Cheers

    Hi

Enabling this option in preferences and restarting Photoshop should fix the issue

Have tried this and hoping it works!

It's been playing up for ages for me, its so time consuming having to keep going back. Especially when making google advertising gifs in multiple sizes!

I'm having the same problem. No layers above it. No clipping masks. If I move the text slightly and then move it back the text looks as it should but then reverts to this clipped look when trying to save. My hands are tied. Can't do my job with Photoshop.

I am having the same issue. I just have to "edit" the text layer and it corrects, though as others have stated can show up again later. I'm trying to catch this before I turn in my work but it gets passed me some times. Reverting back might be the solution for me.

I'm having the same issue on some of my text layers. Moving the text temporarily fixes it but it reverts back after a while.

I'm going to work using an older version until this gets addressed.

I've been having the same issue. And its not just a preview glitch the crop is still visible on export.

Can someone from adobe address this please?

Could you make a print screen of your layers ?
