I am using Window 10 and my photoshop was working great until it automatically update last week to Ver 25.0. After the updare, the program ran extremely slow and cause my computer to freeze when I try to load a file. I have tired reboot my comp, uninstall and re-install photoshop 22.5 but the problem persist. Finally, I reinstall the previous version (22.4.3) and everything is back to normal. Anyone has the same issues as i have? Any suggestion? Now I am so afraid to update it.

You need to give a lot more details about your setup:
Available HD space, RAM, Graphics Card(s), VRAM, Scratch Disk location and space.

Assuming you mean v 22.5 did you reset preferences?
Preferences contain more than the user set preferences nad are saved every time Photoshop closes, so can become corrupt. They are not automatically rewritten on an update and any corruption can cause issues in the new update which may not have shown prior to the update.
Secondly, does your computer meet the specification for the update, in particular the GPU? That means a GPU with Direct X 12 support in Windows / Metal supot in Mac and a minimum of 2GB of Video RAM (preferably 4GB). The graphics functions at the core of Photoshop are being re-written to use Metal and Direct X rather than the deprecated OpenGL/CL. This can also lead to issues which may not have appeared in previous versions. If your computer does meet the specifications, make sure that the GPU drivers are up to date.

Yes - i got the version mixed up - the ver 22.5 that messed up my entire set up. So i downgrade it back to 22.4.3 and it works fine.

"Intel HD4600 graphic with 1gig of RAM."
That is the most likely issue. That integrated GPU does not support the current requirements for DirectX 12 and does not have the required VRAM . As such the graphics routines, which are being rewritten, will not use the GPU

To expound on what Dave mentioned, your card is from 2013 and does not meet any of the newer PS graphic card requirements: 430 ops/sec, DirectX11 support and only 1 GB of VRAM.
New requirements are 2000 ops/sec, DirectX12 and 2 GB VRAM.

Your two choices are to upgrade your video/graphics card or stay on this version of Photoshop (and windows OS) until you can upgrade.

This is a totally different problem. Try restarting the computer to relaunch all the CC Desktop processes.

You really need to look at the recommended Photoshop system specs.

Photoshop requires a minimum of 8GB of RAM and a 2 GHz or faster processor, even with them specs I would find it difficult to run Photoshop doing complex work.
