Having a recurring issue where windows will freeze for some reason while im in the middle of working in photoshop and i will need to do a hard restart, upon loading back up ALL my photoshop presets are deleted somehow and i need to load back in all my brushes, remap all my custom hotkeys etc. Is there a way to hard save/reload all of this in a folder somewhere so this wont keep happening? Saving my workspace and trying to reload it also doesnt work. Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Hi there,

Sorry that Photoshop is crashing on your computer and also trashing all the user preferences. That shouldn't be happening, let us help make it right.

Could you please let us know the version of Photoshop you're using? As you've mentioned that the app crashes in the middle of working, have you noticed that it crashes while using a particular tool or feature?

Thanks,

Akash

You can save the abr, kys, etc. files and then back them up.

As for the Windows-freeze you may have to do some serious trouble-shooting, it might be related to drivers or faulty hardware …
