Photoshop version 24.7.0 is stored in folder Adobe Photoshop 2023

Question

Even though I have made several updates to Photoshop version 24, they are installed in the old folder of 2023.

@Rolf Södergren not sure what you mean, but Photoshop version 24.0 to 24.7.1 is Photoshop 2023

Yes photoshop 2023 is photoshop version 24, so any updates such as 24.7 would be updating whatever point

version of photoshop 2023 (ps ver 24) is in the Adobe Photoshop 2023 folder.

For now, if you have for example, Photoshop 2023, then the actual Photoshop version is one up or version 24

Photoshop 2024 is actually Photoshop Version 25.

The 2023, 2024, etc is supposed to signify roughly the year of that photoshop versions lifespan.

Yeah it's quite confusing, even to those that deal with Adobe products every day.
