Hi, I have the latest version of Photoshop (25.5.1) on my Mac (Sonoma 14.4). Today I tried to start photoshop as usual, it gets to the credits window, then stops and shuts down. I tried opening through Bridge, Camera Raw and start up icon but the same thing happens. It never properly opens to main window.

Is there any ideas or help with this please?

Many thanks

Just to add if it helps, when I start photoshop, it goes to the credits window, it gets to (Done sorting Font list) and that's where it then terminates.

I have just under 800 fonts in my Mac library, but this hasn't changed in the last week. Used actively in a photoshop file would be less than 5.

Just tried it and the same result happens. I pressed command, shift and option while starting up, the delete photoshop settings window came up, clicked yes, then a moment later it shutdown.

Problem solved! after chatting with Adobe, letting them have access to my Mac, it seems to be a third party plug-in that was the problem! (Probably should have realised that could have been the case in the first place, but hey ho.)

I was trying out the ON1 software package, and somewhere in that, caused the problem.

Thank you Kevin for your assistance, much appreciated, and thank you Adobe for finding the issue!
