Photoshop Volume error while trying to safe a file on file server, for only 2 users

We work with more than 20 people in a creative team.

2 of my colleagues have the problem in PS version 22 and 23:

Both use CC for teams on a mac os system (11.6.7 / 12.6)

- They open a file on a file server (Helios UB64, mounted as afp)

- They try to safe it and get a "volume error" sometimes.

- If they try to "safe as" it works.

What can be the reason fot that and how can we try to fix it?

Adobe do not support working directly with files on networks and recommend downloading locally to edit, saving then transferring back to the network drive.
