Photoshop vs. imovie

I am an Apple user. I can create movies from Apple's imovie. What's the difference between Photoshop and imovie. I can do tons of editing, cropping, transtions, and more using apple imovie. The price of apple cost more and easier to use, but the Photoshop is cheaper, but too complicated. Help me make a decision between buying an Apple laptop, or a photoshop bundle. Thanks.

The you can run Photoshop on an Apple or Windows PC or one of each under the licence.

Photoshop's main purpose is to optomise still images, though it does have the facility to edit movies. Adobe's main movie editing application is Premiere (or Premiere Elements – a light version of Premiere).

Perhaps you should also post in the Premiere forum.

Hi Bb

I use both of them and the razon is I am a photographer and I have Ps for editing my work, I use Mac computers for the quality and I have for free iMovie, GarageBand, Page, Keynote that comes with the computer.

The difference between one and the other is in the cuantity of tracks you can have when editing your movie, in iMovie you may have only 2 + sound, in Ps you may have multiple and there is the trick when you want to have several text includet in your frame...salute
