photoshop What’s New tab

Hello, I have an adobe student account and have been experiencing issues with photoshop. I finally figured out how to uninstall the app and reinstall it, but every time I open up the app there's a "What's New" pop up. I can't exit out of it, or interact with any of the information it's trying to show me. The next, learn more, and X buttons all don't work. The pop up won't allow me to use anything on my Home Screen. I can open a file from the top tool bar, but can't use any parts of my Home Screen. I use a windows/PC and don't really have the hang of it, so any help would be useful. Thank you!

Hi @Isobel28895680cnpd Normally uninstal/reinstall is a last resort.

Try resetting your Photoshop preferences manually. Reinstalling does not automatically reset them so you could be installing over bad preference files:
