Photoshop window wont move.

Running Win.10 (22H2) and when updating to PS 24.7 the main PS window will not move. Everything works, you just can't drag the window anywhere, it immediately snaps back to the original spot. I have re-did preferences, change screen resollution in windows, litteraly deleted the Adobe Photoshop 2023 Settings folder, nothing worked. The only fix is to downgrade to 24.6 then the problem goes away fine. When I tried to go back up to 24.7 the problem was back. So, I cannot run V24.7

There is a fix for this.

Start > SystemPropertiesPerformance.exe. Re-check your "Show window contents while dragging" and apply the settings.

I had un-checked that box as an optimization for Premiere, but I think being able to move my windows around is more important than whatever minor bump in speed that's worth.

Same issue for me on Windows 11. It doesn't seem to be limited to Photoshop - I can't move Illustrator around the screen either. The only solution I've found is to stretch the window one edge at a time to put it in the desired position. Simply grabbing and moving it like any other app doesn't work.

can move Photoshop 2024 and other applications around on Windows 10, but on my newer PC they always snap back to the same spot.
