Photoshop won't start.

My Photoshop automatically updated to the 2026 version, and since then, the application loading page appears and then disappears without opening. I restarted my computer and also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application, but the same issue has been happening since the second attempt.

Have you tried resetting Photoshop preferences?

I agreed that preferences would be removed once I uninstalled the app. As I said, it opened once after reinstalling(I didn't set or change any preferences in this try), then the same issue: this page appears, and then disappears without opening the application.

What happens sometimes on Windows is Photoshop doesn't start and after showing Welcome Screen disappears. I noticed that when this happens, if I open Task Manager, and start Photoshop again, it starts just fine.

I am using Windows. I also tried your suggestion, having Task Manager open before I open Photoshop: Photoshop starts loading, and at the same time opens in the task manager, and once it disappears, it automatically closes in the task manager as well. So it's definitely not remaining active in the background.
