Photoshop won't start

Suddenly Photoshop won't start up. It worked yesterday, now when I try to launch it I get the spinning rainbow ball forever. I updated it, uninstalled and reinstalled it, and I started my computer in safe mode with no change. I would love some help!

I have a MacBook Air, with OS Sierra 10.12.6
