Photoshop Won’t Take Focus on M1 MacBook Pro

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue where Photoshop does not take focus when switching from another app on my M1 MacBook. I have to click on the image or some part of Photoshop before and keyboard shortcut/input is acknowledged. I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps, including using the Dock and Mission Control to switch, restarting both Photoshop and my Mac, resetting preferences, and running in Safe Mode, but none of these steps have resolved the problem. Has anyone encountered this issue or have any suggestions for further troubleshooting? Any help is appreciated!
