Hi, I am a Mac user who mainly use Photoshop for working.

I love using Photoshop with my Mac because ONLY Mac allows me to zoom in and out my images smoothly.

I am still using my Mac and I did not change any options in my Photoshop.

But it suddenly do not allow me to zoom in and out smoothly.

When I use Space + command key with mouse to zoom in, my image turned to a huge pixels.

Please let me know if there is any way to fix it. Thanks.

Can you go into Preferences (Cmd k) > Tools and uncheck Animated Zoom?

That feature has a habit of "running away" and zooming to the pixel level.

Another thought is Scrubby Zoom in the Zoom Tool Options Bar at the top. I like the feature myself, but you may want to uncheck if the first idea doesn't work.

Thank you for the response!  Unfortunately neither of those optons did the trick.  I find it interesting that this only occurs on some files...
