Photshop CC 2015 leaving a echo when dragging Marquee

Hello Folks,

 

Whenever I drag the Marquee area around, it leaves an echo behind, only within the Marquee area. Do you guys know why?

That is an unlicensed, hacked version of Photoshop. We can't help you further.

Given that many hacked version also hide malware, you may have much bigger issues than Photoshop on screen echoes.

    License is purchased. You may see there now in my records.

     

    If I download now the latest PS version it will very likely fix this issue while I'll not necessarily find how to fix it. Now, can you help me further? I don't want to upgrade PS before knowing how to fix this. This knowledge will also remain here for everyone's record.

          Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

          I tried your solution, but nothing changed, the echo is still there.
