Hi,
My oil paint filter works under "Stylize," however, when I go to run an oil paint Action it does not? I have the photo in RGB and my graphics card is AMD A8 - 5500 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 3.20. This is the part I am not sure about. From what I read this should work correct?

Hello, which version of Photoshop are you running?
The Oil paint filter was originally a Pixel Bender plugin, an abandoned technology. Is it possible that the action you are trying to use was written for that old version?

Oil Paint look like a normal Filter Plug-in. However, it only seem to record two of it Dialogs six settings into an Action step. I do not know if this is by design or its an Issue. I would think that any action that would use a filter like Oil paint would have varying results because document will differ in sizes and resolution and Actions step settings are fixed. So even if all oil painters settings were recorded output would very because of differences in image size and resolution. The Oil effect will differ that is what I see.
