Photshop launching itself on starting up Mac

Since its latest update, Photoshop launches itself every time I restart my iMac. I don't want it to! I prefer to start it up when I want to use it. How do I stop it loading itself every time, please? Sorry if this has been answered before. I did a search which told me it hadn't. Many thanks.

A couple of settings to check:

1. When you shut down your mac uncheck Reopen windows when logging back in.

2. If you have a photoshop shortcut in your dock, right click on the shortcut and

under Options verify Open at Login is not checked.

Thanks for the quick reply, Jeff. In fact, both of those were unchecked, but after making sure they were unchecked, I shut down the Mac and restarted it. Guess what? Photoshop didn't launch itself!! First time that's not happened in days. So thanks for your help. It's something I'll keep my eye on.
