pixelated images from illustrator to photoshop

hi all

I'm trying to make some mockups, but when I import the artworks from illustrator to photoshop the images are all pixelated. I'm usin a mac and so far I have already tryied:

- copy/paste

- alias checked and unchecked

- imported in all formats (as pixel, smart object, path...)

- drag and place

- place embedded and linked

- exported in jpeg, png, pdf, svg

- the image is larger in photoshop

- the resolution is high enough

- copyed vectorized or rasterized images

does anyone have any other ideia I could try?

or know how to solve the problem?

hey guys, thanks for all your help! it was sorted!

it was indeed a metter of image size, they have to have the same size in AI and PS, which dosent sound much ineligent for me but... worked

Can we start with some basics perhaps then:

You say it's a Mac:

Please give us details of the Mac: eg a screenshot of your "About This Mac"

What version of Illustrator and Photoshop are you using together ?

Please, can you post the simplist small illustrator file you can make that has the problem you describe?

@EuanWilliamson 's share is a good resource.

You could also try placing the Illustrator file.

I'm sure you'd agree, it makes little sense for smart objects to pixelate.

I'm assuming that the content from Illustrator is vector information. Would that be correct?

I tryied that, place the AI file and the anti-alias check. none of them worked, the image comes pixelated the same way 😕😕
