Hey, what happened to the 'place linked', it brings the file in a different scale.

I used to use the place linked for psd files and it was fine , I got the image in the correct size.

But now, after the new update it brings it in smaller scale. please fix the bug.

Correct answer id123456

maybe I changed from 72 dpi to 300 dpi (while unchecked resample), but now it is ok because I changed the resize image during place in the file settings.

I just found in the preferences that need to uncheck the resize image during place

The PPI resolution value is used for the print size/placed size, could this differ from when you first placed the file?

This is determined by the ppi number. Smart objects honor physical sizes, not pixel sizes. And physical size is a result of the pixels per inch (ppi) number.

Resize During Place just fits oversized images in the canvas. It's kind of misleading and should rather have been called "fit oversized images".

Just make sure the ppi numbers are the same, and you get consistent pixel sizes without any resampling.
