Placing an image stored in cloud document in Photoshop for iPad

I have a cloud document open in Photoshop (iPad) and I want to place an image I was working with on my laptop which is also a cloud document. Now here's the issue I click on place image but the only options available are Camera Roll, Files, Libraries and Camera. Where is the cloud documents options?

I have the same question. I want to place a photo I edited on my iPad into another photo on my iPad but I can't access my Cloud documents. I can access my synced files though.

Adobe support just confirmed that this feature is not available.

I just don't understand how this was not implemented.

They did not but I feel the same way. It's crazy that it's where your iPad saves by default and you can't then place it into another file directly. Insane.

I was excited to show my daughter how to create her first psd on ipad. I setup a few files on my laptop and saved them to the cloud and well the tutorial didn't go as planned..lol

😂 You can get around it by exporting it to your Creative Cloud synced files. Then you can place it in but I feel that is a lot of unnecessary steps AND files.
