Question

Placing PSD into Artboard incorrect size

Hello, I have a PSD file that is 1080 x 1080

I have created multiple artboards, at that size(1080 x 1080), for a campaign.

When I place the PSD file it is making it quarter of the size.

I did get it to be the correct size once, but by mistake, has anyone any ideas how I can place a embeded photoshop file without it shrinking the image in the artboard?

There is an issue in Place. If the Image file you you are placing in Print Resolution is not the same at the document resolution you are placing the image into Place will resize your  Image IMO the is a Bug.  If the file you are placing in has a print resolution like 300DPI and the current document's resolution  is 72  Place will create and smart object that is much smaller than your image.   The  Preferences resize during Place does not resize your image.  If the Smart Object created by place is larger then the document's canvas size Place will adjust the smart object layer's object transform to scale the smart object layer to fit on canvas.    IMO Place should use your image as the object not a different image with a diffent size.
